About Cash 4 Life
Cash 4 Life is a popular multi-state lottery game available in several states across the United States. It offers players the chance to win $1,000 a day for life or $1,000 a week for life, along with other prizes. Drawings take place every day at 9:00 pm ET.
Game History
Cash 4 Life was first introduced on June 16, 2014, replacing earlier "for life" style lottery games in several states. Initially, the drawings were held twice a week, every Monday and Thursday. However, to meet growing popularity and demand, the game transitioned to daily drawings starting from July 1, 2019. Prior to this version, a different game under the same name was available from 1998 to 2000, but it had a different structure and prize format. Since its current inception, Cash 4 Life has become a favorite for its unique lifetime prize structure and its now-daily opportunities to win.
How to play Cash 4 Life?

Select Your Numbers
Choose 5 numbers between 1 and 60 (white balls or main numbers) and 1 Cash Ball number between 1 and 4. -
Winning the Jackpot
To win the top prize of $1,000 a day for life, your 5 main numbers and the Cash Ball number must match the drawn numbers. The secondary prize is $1,000 a week for life, awarded for matching all 5 main numbers without the Cash Ball.

Cash 4 Life prizes are fixed amounts, with the top two prizes providing lifetime payments. If there are multiple winners for a prize tier, the prize amount is split equally among the winners. Lifetime payments are guaranteed for at least 20 years, and winners can choose between the annuity option, which continues for the rest of their life, or a one-time cash payout.
